Balto Carpal & Tarsal Splint

The Balto® Splint is specifically engineered to provide support for the radiocarpal, carpometacarpal, and tarsometatarsal (wrist) joints in both the front and back paws. This brace is designed to offer stability and support to your dog’s legs while allowing natural mobility. It is manufactured with a non-neoprene material that is breathable and provides compression. Additionally, it can be used to treat slight fractures.

BRACE APPLICATIONS

• Hyperflexion or hyperextension of the carpal and tarsal (in cases of severe front leg hyperextension or hyperflexion, use Balto® Bone)
• Minor ligament distortions
• Sprains and strains of the tarsus or carpus
• Minor fractures of the tarsus or carpus bones
• Post-surgical support
• This brace can be used on healthy joints, muscles and ligaments to prevent injury and provide structural support.

BRACE FEATURES

• Single angled airplane aluminum splint that is slightly malleable for a more custom fit.
• Adjustable upper and lower padding straps can be lengthened or shortened on the leg to ensure an excellent fit
