The 22cm length, from Infusion Concepts offers a 22cm Mini-Bore End Extension, allowing for taping above the catheter site. Once this Mini-Bore End Extension is taped in place, the injection port is remote from the catheter site and the remote placement aides in avoiding catheter displacement when a patient is in motion. This extension offers a reduced weight and lower injection priming volume of 0.15ml, presenting many advantages over the standard T-Connector.
