Celebrating regenerative farming

Volac is delighted to support a series of farm walks organised by the British farmer-owned dairy co-operative First Milk this summer, which are designed to showcase regenerative agriculture on UK dairy units.

Held in Ayrshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire and Pembrokeshire, the four celebratory events during July and August give the general public the opportunity to see close-up the regenerative farming practices being practised on four dairy farms supplying milk to First Milk. Typically, this means following sustainable farming principles that work to restore and regenerate soils and the wider ecosystem.

Forging collaborative partnerships based on sustainability in agriculture is at the heart of Volac’s business ethos too and the company is proud of its long-standing relationship with First Milk.

• Get your milkshake fix from the Milk Shed with a host of summer flavours
• Come and see how the cows are milked through the robotic milking machine
• Kids can enjoy a treasure trail, meet and stroke an alpaca

• Come and see how the milk is collected and sampled through the milk tanker
• Sample and buy local produce from the area
